This is me as Glorfindel, elfen Lord of the House of Golden Flower. This took place at the 30th annual Middle Earth Festival, celebrating the Lord of the Rings and other such assorted works by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Back then I still had my long sexy hair. Now I've traded it in for a goatee as seen in [link] . Good times, that. I desgned the costme on paper and Maeline Simon created it from scratch. I reallly went with the House of Golden flower theme, making the whole thing gold and white with stylized lotus blossoms on the chest and vambraces. It looked really cool. This picture better shows off the floral design on the vambraces and the quilting on the shoulderpads. |
