Namu Yoshimitsu- Colored

This is the colored version of the Yoshimitsu lineart I absent-mindedly drew under the influence of Pan's Labyrinth's lull [link] . I decided that I'd like to color it, and it looked too garish on a white background.
Rather than give it just a blank background like this [link] I gave it a blurred picture background like you see in some webcomics. I blurred it in Photobucket, then resized and cropped it. The background is a stage from Soul Calibur 2, I think.

It took maybe 1.5-2 hours in Microsoft Paint. I'm getting faster at cleaning the lineart and coloring it--at least without shadowing. If I do shadowing like this [link] it can take hours. I wish I had a more advanced drawing program.

I know this looks terrible, but what could make it better?

I lay no claim to Yoshimitsu, Soul Calibur, or anything else Namco has made. This picture, however, is mine. Don't steal it.
